Allison Woods located in Statesville, North Carolina is pleased to announce it’s 7th Annual Living History Weekend. For one weekend each year, Allison Woods travels back in time. For the past 6 years we have honored our ancestors that served during the Civil War. This year we will add to our normal Civil War event by offering an event that will be the first of its kind in the southeastern United States. This is a living history and reenactment event. Visitors will travel throughout the site visiting the various displays and activity venues and interacting with reenactors while learning about wars in American history.

There will be three battles each day

Revolutionary – Civil War – World War II.

Weapons demonstrations and battle drills will be scheduled.

Join us as we offer this wonderful opportunity to view the progression of military weapons, uniforms, and battles through the ages. And more importantly as we celebrate the vital importance of our military throughout the years and honor our ancestors who have served their country in these wars.
